Turbo Timer & Alarm Issues?

I'm going to be installing a Blitz Turbo Timer. I know how to wire it up and all, but how will the timer work with my Alarm? I've got an extremely ancient Alpine 8426. Is there a special way to wire it up so that the alarm will activate itself after the timer has done its job? I've also heard that there is some sort of component that you can get at Radio Shack that will allow turbo timers to work in conjunction with alarms.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This is something common with MR2 owners. There is a solution to the problem, but I'm an electronics idiot and can't figure it out. Here are an email that I got from another MR2 owner:

"i am suggesting that u unhook the alarms ignition sense wire and switch it too the acc or wire that gets power when the radio does i believe this wire is blue on the turbo timer haness (i could be wrong)"
